After breakfast your day is free to enjoy York Christmas Festival. This 37 day festival includes the popular St Nicholas Fair with its traditional, magical chalets selling locally-made handcrafted gifts. Explore Dawgate and Coppergate for inspired gift and stocking filler ideas or find local flavour at Yorks famous Shambles Market. On Parliament Street cosy up around a log fire and enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine and soak up the festive atmosphere. Of course you can also make time to explore some of Yorks great attractions before you head back to the hotel for dinner.
