Set within 24 acres of stunning gardens, the 19th Century house provides a fascinating insight into the private life of the Royal Family. Many of the Queens beloved corgis are buried in the grounds. Browse through the museum containing Royal vehicles, rare ceramics, photographs and memorabilia. We will have a day to explore the City of Norwich, the most complete Medieval city in Britain with over 30 medieval churches within the city walls alone! Well then be travelling in style first on the Bure Valley Railway for a nostalgic journey by steam from Aylsham to Wroxham and then an afternoon cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads national park.

Monday 21st June
Leaving Devon we travel to our hotel near Norwich. Arriving with time for you to unpack and relax before dinner is served later that evening.
DTuesday 22nd June
After a leisurely breakfast we travel to explore the City of Norwich. Take a gentle stroll around Norwich, with over 1500 historic buildings all infused with rich character and the most complete Medieval city in Britain. The city has 33 medieval churches, more than any other city in Northern Europe and Elm Hill is a complete historical cobbled street with stunning examples of Tudor buildings and wealthy merchants houses. And don't miss the Norman Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Europe, boasting the second tallest spire in the country or explore the fascinating Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery. After a full day we head back to the hotel in time for dinner.

D, FEThursday 24th June
After breakfast we make our way to Bure Valley Railway. We take a nostalgic journey along Norfolk's longest narrow gauge railway which runs between the historic market town of Aylsham and bustling town of Wroxham in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The 18 mile round trip runs through the pretty Bure Valley countryside following the meandering River Bure through meadowland and ancient pasture. You will have time in Wroxham to have lunch before you make your way to Wroxham Bridge, the starting point for an afternoon cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. As you sail along and take in the picturesque scenery you will enjoy a commentary of the Norfolk Broads National Park.
