The 3 star Gleneagle hotel stands in large grounds just outside the town of Killarney(approximately 1.5 miles) and is known for its nightly entertainment and for the superb leisure centre with large indoor pool. A shuttle bus service runs from the Gleneagle to Killarney town centre regularly throughout the day for approximately 3.00 euros per person each way. Please note this service is not available in the evenings.

We catch the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. Overnight stay at the Maldron Hotel, Wexford.
Monday 20th Sept
Today we travel to Killarney. On route we make a stop at Blarney Castle which is world famous for its stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of the tower which attracts many visitors. Apparently kiss the stone & you will never again be lost for words! We depart Blarney Castle mid afternoon to continue on our journey. Checking into our hotel with time to settle into our rooms and unpack before dinner is served.D, FE
Tuesday 21st Sept
This morning we will travel on board a Jaunting Car which is a traditional form of Irish transport, similar to a horse drawn carriage. Our ride takes us through the spectacular Killarney National Park on a unique tour where no motor traffic is permitted, as you ramble along you will be told of the history, legends and folklore of the area. Passing the 15th Century Ross Castle before joining the M.V Pride of the Lakes for a cruise on Lake Leane where the experienced skipper will commentate on the flora, fauna and historical heritage of the area.D, FE
Wednesday 22nd Sept
A day with our local tour guide, to the mystical and unspoilt region of Ireland known as the Ring of Kerry. This beautiful tourist trail provides an insight into the areas ancient heritage. See the Iron Age Forts and Ogham Stones, Old Monasteries and a landscape carved out of rock by the last ice age 10,000 years ago, before returning to our Hotel.D, FE
Thursday 23rd Sept
A full day trip and commentary by a local guide around the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, stretching 30 miles into the Atlantic Ocean from Ireland's south west coast. This stunning Peninsula is dominated by a range of mountains steep sea cliffs which are broken by sandy beaches, a must to see in your visit to Ireland.
Friday 24th Sept
Today we depart our hotel and make our way Wexford for the night with a stop at the Maldron Hotel. On route we stop in Waterford, with time here to have some lunch, have a wander and maybe even purchase some Waterford Crystal. After spending some time in Waterford we make our way to our overnight stop in Wexford.D, FE
Saturday 25th Sept
Catch the early morning ferry to Fishguard and home to Devon. Breakfast is included on the ferry as it is an early start.FE
