This fantastic escape to Wales represents great value. Explore the tunnels within the walls of Cardiff Castle and step back in time with a visit to Fagans. This open-air museum boasts more than 40 re-erected buildings.  As you wander around this amazing space your senses will be awakened with sights, sounds and smells dating back from Celtic times to the present day. Whilst staying in the heart of this vibrant City you will also have time shop or take in some of Cardiff's most iconic sights.

We travel to our hotel in the centre of Cardiff. Settle into our room then we take a tour of Cardiff Castle in afternoon. Dinner


Monday 8 March

After breakfast we have a full day to explore St Fagans National Museum of History, one of Europe's leading open air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attraction. Standing in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle, over 40 original buildings from different historical periods have been re-constructed in the 100 acre parkland.


Tuesday 9 March

After breakfast you have the morning to explore Cardiff, shop in one of the many arcades or visit Cardiff Bay or the National Museum Cardiff (Free). In the afternoon we return home to South Devon.
